SHIPPING POLICY

It is our goal at BUDS to provide our customers with high-quality products and excellent customer service. Please review our shipping, replacement, and return policies when placing an online order for any plant or product from our website. Please note that this policy only applies to products placed through our website; custom orders and in-person purchases are subject to different terms. 


DAMAGE

We take every measure to ensure that your plants and other items being shipped to you are packaged carefully so that they are not damaged during transit. We understand that there are occasions when packages are mishandled or exposed to extreme conditions. If you receive a damaged product, we ask that you submit proof of damage through our Damage Replacement Form. Claims must be submitted within 3 days of delivery to receive a replacement.

LOST PACKAGES

If the tracking information for your order is showing that it has been delivered but you have not yet received it, please confirm that the shipping address is correct. Be sure to check side doors, porches, apartment complex offices, garages, etc. If your order has not arrived after one week (7 days) of the expected delivery date, please submit a lost package claim through our Lost Package Replacement Form and we will process a replacement order. Lost packages are not subject to a full refund.

RETURNS & EXCHANGES

Due to the perishable nature of living plants, BUDS does not accept returns or exchanges.

CHANGE OF ADDRESS

BUDS will deliver orders for addresses entered correctly at checkout and as confirmed on your receipt. Customers can no longer change the address if the order has already departed for delivery. Orders with incorrect addresses do not qualify for refunds, replacements, cancellations, or re-shipments. If you notice a mistake or need to change a shipping address, please email us at info@budsplantboutique.com.

NON-PERISHABLE PRODUCTS

Returns and exchanges of non-perishable items such as pots, accessories, apparel, candles, soaps, etc., will only be accepted if the customer initiates the return within three days of delivery. When returning a non-perishable item, the product must be in its original packaging and arrive undamaged. Returned items received but not in the original packaging will not be accepted. Please use your preferred courier; shipping costs will apply. Shipping fees from the original order are non-refundable, and BUDS will deduct a 20% restocking fee from the total refund. Please allow 5–10 business days after receipt of the item for processing a return or exchange.

*Returns or exchanges on gift cards are not accepted.

CANCELLATIONS

Due to the nature of our perishable products, cancellations only apply within 24 hours of your order date and time and if the package has not already departed for delivery.

GUARANTEE

At BUDS, we pride ourselves on providing you with healthy plants. We do our best to provide care instructions and are happy to talk with you if you have questions about your plant. However, we do understand that even though you are doing everything right, plants don’t make it due to circumstances beyond our control. We offer a 7-day guarantee on all our live plants. This guarantee covers plants that arrive with:

  • Damaged roots (broken or rotted)

  • Broken Stems

  • Significant leaf damage (broken or missing)

  • Pests

  • Disease

  • Missing or incorrect items

 

If you purchase a plant or products with one of the above problems, we ask that you send us a photo to info@budsplantboutique.com within 3 days of the plant delivery date. Once we receive the request, we will email you a voucher for store credit equal to the amount paid since we cannot guarantee that we will always have the same plant(s) in stock. 

PRODUCT DISCLAIMER

BUDS attempts to provide accurate images of all products. However, due to the nature of live plants and handmade products, we cannot guarantee that an image displayed on our website is the exact item you will receive. Minor discrepancies between items can occur.
